In Scotland, any company removing waste must hold a valid SEPA Waste Carrier licence. If they can't give you a registration number, don't use them. Ours is WCR/R/3017045.

2. Do They Provide a Waste Transfer Note?

A legal waste transfer note must accompany every load. If something goes wrong, the note proves the waste was transferred legally.

3. Do They Use Sub-Contractors?

Many companies send strangers you've never vetted. Ask directly: will the team that quotes me be the team that does the job? We never use sub-contractors.

4. Is the Quote Fixed-Price?

Some companies quote low and charge extra on the day. Always get a fixed-price quote in writing before work starts.
